Harvest Parties...
This year, we were able to have Harvest Parties at two schools: Campau Park Elementary and Southeast Academic Center. With the help of several teams of volunteers from Alticor, we were able to provide the kids at each school a hay-ride, face painting, a games center, a moon-walk and a petting zoo. Urban Family Youth Center Completed...
Watch the youth center be transformed throughout the weeks of contruction below. It's a great example of how Christ transforms each of us. He keeps the same outer shell, but takes all the junk out of the inside and puts new in...

Work Crews Helping Out....
Urban Family Ministries could not exist without the faithful volunteers. Several groups have committed a number of hours to helping complete work on our new 525 Eastern Building (the old Kregel Used Bookstore) which Urban Family acquired in the summer. Currently, this building is the location of the Urban Family Ministries offices, holds junior and senior high girl Bible studies three nights a week, holds homework stations for students to use after school for a quiet place to work and allows tutors to have a work space to meet with students in need of extra help with school work. These work crews have been painting, cleaning, sanding, tearing up carpet, moving panels and even helping to build a food pantry in our building. Click on the links below to view pictures of the different crews.
